Wood IV68 window – A sophisticated blend of classic design and modern functionality.
Despite the widespread use of aluminum and plastic in joinery, wood still has primacy in its production. The reasons are many and obvious – e.g., wood has excellent thermal insulation properties. Our IV68 system is a basic wooden profile, but it is no less noteworthy, as it fits in both modern facades and old buildings. This wooden profile is also the cheapest in our production.
Quality natural materials, simple and safe operation, a wide range of shapes and custom-made option, good structural hardness, and thermal insulation and soundproofing.
The 68 mm thick wooden profile is made of quality wood (spruce/fir/larch/oak/meranti/pine), glued without a visible longitudinal joint; for better fitting in the interior, the window can be made of different types of wood.
A durable and naturally gentle water-based coating is offered in many shades.
The characteristic glass that is installed in the IV68 wood window is two-layer 4 + 12Ar + LowE4, but it is possible to install other combinations of double glazing which achieves many aesthetic and energy effects, following your requirements.
Quality fittings from reputable European manufacturers Maco and Sigenia allow easy opening along the horizontal and vertical axes; installing safety or concealed fitting and a vent to open the fanlight is also possible.
Three rubbers, one on the sash and two in the frame, are fitted as standard in the IV68 wood profile windows.
For wood and wood-aluminum joinery, we have a wide range of different paints and varnishes from renowned European manufacturers Italian Coatings and Milesi. Wooden surfaces require maintenance through the varnishing process to keep the wooden structure stable.
Glass is a precious link between indoor and outdoor spaces. It is one of the key elements in achieving comfort in the space, as it fulfills the basic function of the window and takes care of other important functions – from distracting the view to saving energy and protecting from noise.
